Add easy horsepower to your 2013-2020 BRZ/FR-S with the Mishimoto Subaru BRZ / Scion FR-S Performance Air Intake! We understand that removing the front bumper of your new BRZ/FR-S is not ideal, so our engineers designed this Performance Air Intake to develop a 7 whp / 5 wtq bolt-on power increase with no bumper removal required. In addition to the impressive power increase, our engineering team ensured that safe A/F ratios are maintained throughout the entire powerband. This intake uses a silicone induction hose and aluminum intake pipe that provides a smooth path for airflow. Additionally, the CNC-machined mass airflow (MAF) housing and air straightener ensure laminar airflow across the sensor to provide accurate readings. The kit also includes a fully serviceable Mishimoto oiled air filter, which provides a 16-percent increase in filter surface area, allowing for greater airflow and superior filtration. The Mishimoto BRZ / FR-S Performance Cold-Air Intake includes a powder-coated airbox to ensure the hot engine bay does not heat soak the air filter. The engineers at Mishimoto designed the airbox to fit properly with the Mishimoto BRZ / FR-S Oil Cooler Kit. This intake provides power you can hear! It is a huge upgrade for intake noise and provides a nice throaty intake tone, especially under full throttle. I haven’t written a review in a while but this one motivated me to because it had potential and with some honest beta readers correcting its nonsense, it could have been pretty good. The writing is awkward at times and the world building was slow and one dimensional until around half way through and then it got much better. The main issues are with the characters, dialogue and plot. The FMC swings from stupidly trusting her “ friends” even when she is repeatedly betrayed to hating those who betrayed her to seemingly forgetting she hated them. It’s a whirlwind that reeks of adolescent drama and doesn’t fit the plot the author was trying, I think, to execute. The ridiculous decisions the character makes are so obviously made to move the plot in the direction the author was trying to go and was so basic in plot writing it was at times like reading a teenager’s writing project. It was hard to connect to the main character and hard to like any of the others. The author has potential but it was not met in this book. I will not be reading the next and really had to push through to even finish this one.

Good Read

Dahlia, Ryken and Aiden are in quite the lovers triangle. I was very invested in Dahlia’s story and what was going to happen next. I loved that she fought for herself and tried to stand up for what she believed and her friends, rather than just giving in. Even though there were predictable portions of the story, I was still invested enough not to care. I’m curious what will happen in book 2. The spice level is mild, but maybe it will get spicier?? The only reason I gave the story four stars was because the world building in the beginning of the story was a bit confusing. I could’ve used a bit more explanation. Overall - I recommend to anyone who loves a story about lovers triangles & a FMC who struggles with an overwhelming power.

SO GOOD!!

Okay this is definitely one of my favorite books of 2023. I was in a reading slump and this book made me feel excited! I read it all day and stayed up till 3 to finish it, could not put it down.
Spoilers so you may wanna stop reading.
Spice? ✅ plot? ✅ magic? ✅
I loved the fact that our fmc romance did not just start with the mmc. Like cmon most people don’t end up with their true love right away and we gotta kiss a couple toads before we find him. I LOVED our Ryken omg new book boyfriend. I am just sad I have to wait now for the next book. That ending!!

The gasp I gasped!

Okay so “dark fantasy” is not a go to of mine, like at all. But OMG! I loved this. I personally didn’t feel like any of the themes were that “dark”. The story and the characters were so intriguing and I was instantly hooked! It was such a rollercoaster ride from beginning to end, and it was well worth it!
