TruFuel never contains harmful ethanol. Ethanol may be okay for cars, but it’s not so good for small engines. Most people are not aware that the majority of the gasoline sold in the U.S. contains ethanol, or that big problems can arise when gasoline containing ethanol is left unused for extended periods of time in the tank of outdoor power equipment.

The ethanol in the gasoline attracts water from the atmosphere, and the two bond together in a process called “phase separation.” Having water in your fuel mix is not good. Water gets in and separates the oil and gas into two layers. The bottom layer with raw ethanol and water is typically the first that enters your engine without any lubrication, which can be a recipe for disaster. It’s a big problem, and fuel stabilizers can’t fix it.

With TruFuel, your engine stays clean. Because TruFuel contains ethanol-free gasoline, it’s easy on your engine, which is important because ethanol will wear away rubber and plastic engine parts. Ethanol is also a powerful solvent.
