Bodark Board B-723 1" x 3.1" x 21"Bodark Board B 723 1" x 3. 1" x 21" 2. 7 lbs. This is a nice rift sawn board of Texas Bodark. The color is the strong golden yellow of Bodark heartwood, with a surface patina developing of the deeper medium brown and golden tones of aged bodark. I see no cracks, checks or other significant flaws.

Love them all!
Format: Hardcover
My son has long loved the story of Ferdinand (as have I), so I was delighted to be pointed to these books, now back in print. My son is impatient to read, and reading this aloud to him has been wonderful...For him to think of the places he'll go, and the friends he will meet and share with others is magical. All within books. I highly recommend!

Reading can be fun.
Format: Hardcover
I particularly like Munro Leaf's book on reading, which was written for young children to either read or be read to. The logic of choosing good things to read to develop the mind ( as compared to exercise for the body to develop) is a basic concept in the book. The stick figures are fun and mirror the text well.

Rather dull.
Format: Hardcover
It seems dull and preachy now but may have been fine when it was written (many moons ago). However, not a patch on the magnificent (at least in my memory as a child) Ferdinand The Bull - still a favourite of mine (am I really that old?) I've recently bought many copies for a number of two-year-old children.
