Magdalena Parfieniuk is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. “The area of particular interest to me is color, its use, meaning and the subjectivism of its perception. Currently, I am developing my own term Chroma Haze, which refers to an individual approach to painting, in which color inspiration combined with figurative themes results in abstract, slightly strange painting. I work with traditional oil painting techniques, but I also work with alternative techniques such as embroidery, lino-cut and pro-markers, which have recently become a significant part of my artistic research. I am not afraid to experiment with form and color, I believe that courage in art is a necessary trait."
