A bespoke straight-through mid-pipe resonator was designed specifically for the Mk8 to enable a deep, hearty tone both down low and up high no matter the transmission or where you decide to shift in the rev range. In the center resides AWE’s patented 180 Technology® resonator -- responsible for maintaining straight-through performance while decimating drone-prone frequencies. Thanks to the design and construction of 180 Technology® resonators, the internals will not break down and degrade over time causing tone change. Just full-bodied, drone free rumble for life from the point of installation. And if you're ever planning on running an aftermarket downpipe, AWE made it easy to convert by including an adaptor that necks down to the factory downpipe, but is easily removable if you ever want to run something bigger up front... Future proofed. The Touring Edition for the MK8 GTI provides the best ratio of interior refinement and exterior rumble on the market (and yes, you can still hear the noises produced from Sport mode). When it comes to tips, the Touring Edition finishes off with 5†slash cut tips, featuring the AWE logo, so they know what team you're on. Perfectly Fine and Inexpensive
This off-brand filter was $10 cheaper than the local auto store, nearly $20 cheaper than the dealership, and meets the original OEM requirements. My husband is an ASE certified master technician and does all of our car maintenance and repair work himself and purchasing this filter rather than getting the filter from the dealership or the local auto store saved us a good bit of money and it is the same quality. Just make sure that the OEM number is correct for your vehicle and you have nothing to worry about.

Easy to install
Very easy to install this engine filter and checking the compatibility with my car was super easy too. I took me about 5 minutes to look up, learn, and install this. Loved that I saved money by installing it myself instead of getting overcharged but the shop. Works for a 2017 Honda Fit.
