It is lightweight and made of safe T span grating manufactured from a fire retardant isophthalic polyester resin (ISOFR). The high percentage of glass provides durability and high unidirectional strength and stiffness, making this the ideal product for applications where longer support spans are
The FG-I4015-0948 fiberglass I-Bar grate is manufactured with layers of resin and fiberglass strands to create better traction than metal bar grating. It is lightweight and made of safe-T span grating manufactured from a fire-retardant isophthalic polyester resin (ISOFR). The high percentage of glass provides durability and high unidirectional strength and stiffness, making this the ideal product for applications where longer support spans are required, such as roadways and parking areas. Support loads in the span direction only. When properly installed, it has a load class C traffic rating. Fiberglass grates can be purchased as replacement grates or installed as part of a frame and rail system.
FG-734300 Locking devices (4 per grate) are sold separately. – Accepts 1/4-20 hardware (not included). See below for install instructions.
The grate has an open area of 40% and is ADA compliant.
