Celebrate back-to-back glory with the Essendon Bombers 84-85 Mascot Crew. This vintage-fit crewneck features bold screen-printed graphics of the iconic mascot, paying tribute to the legendary premiership years. Crafted from enzyme-washed fabric for a lived-in feel, it’s the ultimate throwback piece for die-hard Bombers fans. Wear history. Own the legacy. Nicknamed the Bombers, the Essendon Football Club was established in 1872 and like their rivals at Collingwood FC, are one of oldest and most successful AFL teams currently in the league. They have 16 VFL/AFL premierships under their belt! Essendon's mascot, a bomber plane, is a nod to the team's proud history in aviation, dating back to World War II when many of the club's players served as pilots and ground crew. The Bombers also have a long list of notable players who have represented the club, including some of the greatest players in the history of the game, such as Dick Reynolds, John Coleman, Tim Watson, James Hird, and Matthew Lloyd.Shipping Notes

It Should be Read by Parents and Children Together
Format: Hardcover
I will always remember that when I was a child, I read Manners Can be Fun by Munro Leaf with my mother. When I found out that 4 of his books, including Reading Can be Fun, were still available I hunted them down. As a parent and psychologist, married to a teacher, I believe that all parents should read this book, as well as the others, with their children at an early age instead of letting them watch TV unattended. It worked with my children. It is an investment well worth the time.

Love them all!
Format: Hardcover
My son has long loved the story of Ferdinand (as have I), so I was delighted to be pointed to these books, now back in print. My son is impatient to read, and reading this aloud to him has been wonderful...For him to think of the places he'll go, and the friends he will meet and share with others is magical. All within books. I highly recommend!

Reading can be fun.
Format: Hardcover
I particularly like Munro Leaf's book on reading, which was written for young children to either read or be read to. The logic of choosing good things to read to develop the mind ( as compared to exercise for the body to develop) is a basic concept in the book. The stick figures are fun and mirror the text well.

Rather dull.
Format: Hardcover
It seems dull and preachy now but may have been fine when it was written (many moons ago). However, not a patch on the magnificent (at least in my memory as a child) Ferdinand The Bull - still a favourite of mine (am I really that old?) I've recently bought many copies for a number of two-year-old children.
