A pastoral scene of the frontier fills the backdrop, complete with a sloping mountainside and cloudy sky. Rim inscriptions inlcude "WESTWARD HO!" at the top and the motto of Manifest Destiny, "SEA TO SHINING SEA," at the bottom.
