Toni Carbó made a name for himself through his collaboration with friend Ramón Jané as Mas Candi, opting to make their own wines after decades of their families selling grapes exclusively to large Cava houses. In 2012 Toni and his wife Anna decided to go further and create their own project, La Salada. The grapes all come from plots where the vines (many planted 80 or more years ago) have always been grown organically and never treated with chemicals. 

El Pages Content ('The Happy Farmer' in local dialect) is a delightfully balanced juicy orange wine with fruity aromas, floral notes and hints of Mediterranean herbs.

The organic grapes underwent two weeks’ worth of whole-cluster fermentation and maceration, before being pressed off to finish fermentation inside a cairons, a large, old-school Catalan underground fermenter lined with tiles. No filtration, no fining, no added sulphur.
