The body has been carefully selected for exceptionally lightweight performance. This is paired with improved weight relief contours and lightweight hardware throughout the bass' construction for optimal balance and comfort during long sessions.
The Music Man StingRay Special 4 features a roasted maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard finished with gunstock oil and a hand-rubbed wax for ridiculously smooth playability. The 5-bolt sculpted neck joint provides stability and access to all 22 stainless steel frets.
The StingRay Special is known for its massive, super-punchy low end provided by the beefy Music Man Neodymium Humbucker in the bridge. To lend a helping hand, StingRay’s 18-volt active preamp and 3-band EQ let you fine-tune and supercharge your sound. The Music Man StingRay Special is durable, performance-ready, and packs a thunderous punch.
This StingRay Special comes in a stylish Buttercream gloss finish with a matching headstock, all safely cradled in a G&L hardshell case.
