Discover the transformative insights of 'The Value of Everything' by Mariana Mazzucato, a compelling exploration of wealth creation in modern capitalism. This thought-provoking book, released in 2019 by Penguin UK, challenges conventional wisdom, asking who truly generates value in today's economy. Mazzucato distinguishes between value-extraction—where profits are siphoned off by shareholders and bankers—and value-creation, the essential process that sustains a robust economy and vibrant society. With 384 pages of sharp analysis, Mazzucato urges us to reconsider how we define value, examining the roles played by different players in the market. This essential read for economists, business professionals, and anyone interested in understanding the dynamics of wealth in our world will not only enlighten you but inspire meaningful discussion about the future of capitalism. Learn how misidentifying 'takers' as 'makers' has skewed our perception and, ultimately, our economy. 'The Value of Everything' serves as a critical reminder of the urgent need for reform in our financial systems to foster genuine value-creation rather than mere profit extraction. Perfect for students, educators, and anyone dedicated to comprehending the foundations of economic theory and practice, this book promises to reshape your understanding of value in the modern age. Grab your copy of this B-format paperback today and embark on a journey to rethink wealth, value, and capitalism.Shipping Notes

TOO SMALL
Size: Medium, Color: Blue
Nice socks, but they are way too small. Says they fit size 6 - 10. I kept 3 ( I wear size 8) and gave 3 to my daughter (size 8.5). We both agreed that they were just too small.
