Bamboo - Fargesia 'rufa' - (kusamono) bonsai display accent plant
The Fargesia rufa is a non-invasive, clumping bamboo celebrated for its elegant, arching habit and the striking contrast of its vibrant green foliage against distinctive reddish-orange culm sheaths. Its beauty lies in its delicate, fine-textured leaves and its fountain-like growth, which remains lush and evergreen even in cooler temperatures. As a bonsai display accent plant (kusamono), it is highly prized for providing a sense of scale and movement; its graceful verticality and soft, rustling presence perfectly evoke the serene atmosphere of a mountain forest or a hidden woodland stream, grounding a larger tree display with a touch of wild elegance.
