We started with a blank slate of paper when we designed our Fish Fighter™ Anchor Bag. We talked with anglers who have spent their entire lives fishing the Hog Lines of the Columbia River, and incorporated their ideas into this bag. We started by using a breathable mesh material, so your wet rope can get air and dry out. We also had reinforcements sewn into the sides so the bag will stand on its own. We then installed a flexible plastic strip around the bag opening, so the bag stays open when you are trying to feed rope into it, and not collapse like other bags. The reinforcements are still flexible enough so the bag can still be rolled up or stuffed into tight spaces. In addition, we added 2 squeeze release buckles on the top, so you can easily clip the bag shut. We didn't stop there; We also included 2" of flotation foam in the bottom of the bag, so it will float when you need to drop off-anchor to fight a fish. There is also an extra D-ring sewn on the outside of the bag, so when you want to add a marker buoy, you will have a place to attach it. But wait -- There's more! We also designed a custom rope tie-off cleat, that is an extremely fast way to tie off your anchor line to the bag. Last but not least, we installed two nice carry handles in the top of the bag.
