Artists Statement
After five wonderful years in New York City, Rabbitwoman and Dogman missed the ocean and decided to travel to beautiful Australia. When they arrived, they were mesmerised by Bondi Beach. They couldn’t wait to grab their board and go surfing together. While riding the perfect wave, they noticed a dark figure swimming beneath the surface. They had been warned of sharks and thought this was surely the end. Then suddenly, a magnificent and gentle whale emerged from the water! As they rode next to the whale Rabbitwoman and Dogman’s love for whales grew as strong as their love for Bondi. They decided to dedicate the rest of their lives to wildlife conservation, to continue helping their friends around the world through love and art.
