Aluminum leaf and contemporary Kintsugi methods. Sold as a set. Not food safe.

First Thoughts:  I didn’t realize the way I grew up was unique till I moved away for college. We had a huge garden and my father hunted deer so the vast majority of our food came off of the property. Gardening though is no joke in terms of time. There is just a little gap between November and February, the end of harvest and the beginning of seed mapping, when the garden isn’t a major focus so I really get why humanity went from for the time saving features of farming. And we have farmers all around the world to thank for the variety of foods available today. However, I’m quite certain that some farming has gone to extremes which are not mutually beneficial. Pesticides, GMO’s, labor treatment, small farms getting gobbled up by larger ones and fresh foods not being made equally accessible to everyone all come to mind as just some issues within the food industry. One thing that surprised me a lot when I moved to Japan was how much people were still gardening. I lived in a town of about 30k so expected maybe one community garden where a few people would participate but actually the case was that on the edge of town, there was a massive area divided up into lots and families with business and full time jobs would have their little veritable gardens they would tend to. I also saw a tiny watermelon for $25 in the grocery store. I never asked if the reason people had gardens was to be in contact with nature or to save money but I remember how my boss would beam telling me the fig or daikon radish she would share with me sometimes came from the family garden. The relationship to food at how it shapes society is certainly worthy of repair. I feel very luck to be from the Moscow, Idaho area where we have an incredible farmers market and so many community oriented local farmers who really care about providing nutrition and goodness.

Second Thoughts:  Thank you to all the growers and makers out there who swim against the tide to make fresh and nutritious food available.

Last Thoughts:  Another thing I recall from living briefly in Japan is that before any meal, my bosses would say a phrase that they said was meant to thank all the hands worked for us to have the meal like the farmers etc. I looked it up and Wikipedia’ gave me “Itadakimasu (いただきます) is a Japanese phrase that translates ‘to humbly receive’. Often said before eating a meal, the phrase is used as a way of showing gratitude and respect for everyone and everything that made the meal in front of you possible.” It’s such a nice sentiment.

The right length
Size: 30-Foot, Style: Standard End
Well made and heavy duty. It is an odd length but that’s what I wanted and needed. 50 ft. Too long and 20ft. Just not long enough . 30ft. Gives me the length that I can use and not have to try and stretch it and gives me a bit of slack and no tension in the run.

Works awesome for continuous 40 amp loads while charging an electric vehicle
Size: 30-Foot, Style: Standard End
I took this extension cord on a nearly 6,000 mile road trip in my 2015 Tesla Model S 85D and this extension cord enabled me to easily reach 240 volt outlets at the 4 friends/families homes we stayed at to charge our car overnight. I used NEMA 10-30 and 14-30 adapters on the end to be able charge from dryer outlets, and just used the extension cord as is to charge from NEMA 14-50 outlets. It is heavy and bulky, but it fits easily into the frunk and we could fit many other things still in the frunk with it. Totally worth buying and having to greatly expand the charging possibilities. This 30 foot cord along with the gen 1 mobile connector the Tesla came with which is 20 feet long means we can reach outlets up to 50 feet away! We've never needed that, but we have parked out in the driveway of the home before and this cord enables us to reach through the garage and into the laundry room of the home. The biggest inconvenience is that the cord is real thick and it forces any doorways to remain open by an inch while charging but that's not the cord's fault. As far as extension cords go this cord is quite expensive, but considering how heavy duty it is I think the price is worth it. I was never able to charge at the full 40 amps this cord is capable of due to the circuits I was plugging into all being 30 amps. Charging at 24 amps overnight and this cord was still cold, but that's not saying much.

Great Cord and Great Price
Size: 30-Foot, Style: Standard End
I got an email from Camping World telling me about a sale on these extension cords. I looked at their site and they wanted about $140. I really needed the cord and almost ordered from them, but I checked Amazon first. Surprise: It was lots cheaper here. Yay. Deal done. This is a great cord. My stock 50A power cord that came with my fifth wheel is too short to reach to my house and plug in and charge my coach batteries. I've used other extension cords, but they sometimes get hot--especially if I don't completely uncoil them. So now I use this Camco extension to reach the outlet in my garage. Even though the garage outlet is only a 20A breaker, it's still a more efficient charge and safer connection to use the stock cord, plus this extension, plus the dog-bone adapter to reduce down to the 110 outlet. The connections are clean and I get the best charge I can possibly get from that outlet. As long as I don't run the air conditioner or any other heavy appliances, I won't trip the breaker in the house panel. This cord is constructed well. The ends are good and easy to plug/unplug. The Velcro carrying handle is a big help too. Well done.

Honestly. Hope for the best, will update...
Size: 15-Foot, Style: Standard End
Durable solid high quality built. Got a 15 ft and the length is perfect. It's so heavy, can't imaging if I have got a 25ft or 50ft one. I bought it because of its using 6 gauge wires, and 8 gauge for the ground. I am using it on a 40a circuit breaker and running on a 8 gauge wire from the breaker to the NEMA outlet, so limited it to charging the EV with 32a max. Not expecting it to be heating up the wires or burning the heads, will update this posting if it does. May 20, 2025 update: solid build cord, very durable. It does a perfect job what I have expected. The head feels just slightly warm with my setup. Glad that I bought this.
