The PRS S2 Custom 24 lands in the PRS lineup of guitars as a standout, workhorse model. As a sturdy platform on which to build an entire musical repertoire, it’s cut out for anything you'd like to throw at it.
Touching down with a totally dynamite set of electronics, the S2 Custom 24 makes its mark with a pair of PRS 58/15 humbucking pickups. Wound domestically in Maryland, this pair of pickups summons a spectrum of refined tones with which to take on any musical endeavor. These pickups stand on their own to run through your best amp or can meld wonderfully with your favorite pedals. For any sonic task, these unique humbuckers certainly stack up to meet any tonal need.
Apart from this exceptional suite of electronics, this S2 Custom’s physical appointments are also striking and comfortable. A maple top and mahogany back assemble to make a form-fitting shape under the arm. PRS’s Pattern Thin-shaped mahogany neck meets up with the body with a twenty-four fret rosewood fingerboard. Classic PRS Bird inlays detail the board for that added element of PRS authenticity.
The ensured PRS care and attention to detail shows on this S2 Custom with the addition of a PRS patented tremolo bridge. Ensuring solid stability, the bridge lands as a love letter to fans of classic vibrato pitch-bending. PRS's low-mass locking tuners line the iconic and unique PRS headstock, enhancing the tuning experience and overall stability. This guitar ships in style with a PRS Premium gig bag to travel wherever the next gig lands.
