The 2023 vintage saw lots of pre-harvest rain, which sees the wine return to the lighter-hued juice of yore. It packs in a little bit of everything: Müller Thurgau, Riesling, Kerner, Silvaner, Chardonnay, Weissburgunder and Grauburgunder, with the result being the zesty, zippy, zingy, buzzy wine we love.

Molnar, an expert on mountain building, nicely explains how collisions of plates with continents atop cause mountain belts to form.
