First impressions are important - and this custom reception desk makes an indelible first impression. It's constructed from an engine cowling removed from a retired McDonnell Douglas DC-10 airliner. The DC-10 was known for its reliability, efficiency, and comfort. In all, 386 commercial DC-10s were delivered between 1971 and 1989, along with 60 KC-10 tanker/cargo versions. The DC-10 was powered by three General Electric CF-6 engines, two mounted under the wings and one on top of the rear fuselage. Our craftspeople removed the engine cowling from the airplane, stripped the paint, and polished the exterior in multiple steps to achieve a mirror finish. The interior surfaces retain their natural metal coloration. The cowling has been fitted with a curved glass reception tabletop and interior laminate work surface to create a beautiful and functional desk. A Certificate of Authenticity is included. Made in USA. Measures 72"W side to side x 44.5"H at tallest point with 36"D desk space. Weighs approximately 170 lb (uncrated). *NOTE: This artifact is sold as is with no guarantee that parts maintain original function. Dependable. Quality.

I love Timex. Been wearing them for tears. Easy to read. Indiglo? Absolutely. When I need to see the time in the dark, Indiglo is perfect. My grandchildren (and next door child) love to press the button to make it turn off / on. The ‘pearl’ face ones are difficult to see sometimes. Give me a good old matte white and I am happy. This watch band can be slide out and I have hand washed it to keep from smelling like leather bands can after a while. This band seems to pill a little but that is not enough to deter me from wearing. Love Timex. Always have. Dependable. Quality.

Great value

This has to be the best watch on the market for the money. It's low profile, easy to read, super classic and just looks great with everything. I have small wrists so this is the perfect size, not too intrusive, plus I can easily change out the band to switch up colors. I get so many compliments.

Good watch for daily regular wear

The item was delivered 2 days earlier than the estimated time. The watch was not well secured. It had fell out inside the small box, but fortunately there was no external or internal damage to the watch. The watch looks nice. I like the simple and clean design of it. The second hand ticking sound is noticeable if your surrounding is very quiet, but it doesn’t bother me cause I have had analog watches before and I the ticking sound is on a similar decibel level. Just be aware this watch is not made in the US (see pictures), but it’s not a dealbreaker for me. The strap gets the job done. I have a small wrist and the strap size is perfect. However, be aware the quality of the strap is very standard. There was noticeable frizz at the end of the strap and around the holes. Had to use a lighter to carefully trim the frizz (hence minus 1 star).
Timex claimed the battery life is 3 years, but that remain to be seen.
Overall, this is a good watch for every day regular wear. For more former wear you can just change the watch band.
