The Sireci family has long been dedicated to producing high-quality wines with minimal human intervention, using organic farming methods, artisanal cellar practices, and renewable energy sources. The winery produces a range of 100% indigenous varietals, including Nero d Avola, Perricone, and Grillo, and is particularly known for its pure expression of Nero d Avola from pre-phylloxera vineyards. All vineyard operations are done by hand, and the winery s commitment to natural practices and high-altitude terroir has earned its wines a reputation as among the finest in the region. The Timpa cru presents a straw yellow color with green reflections, with a nose that boasts strong notes of white peach and loquat, accompanied by floral aromas of Sicilian Spanish broom, jasmine, and almond flowers on the finish. On the palate, it is fresh, persistent, and remarkably acidic, well-balanced with the alcohol, and has a long and soft finish. The 2022 vintage was marked by favorable climatic conditions, with above-average precipitation and cool nights offsetting hot summer days, resulting in excellent fruit quality. The Timpa vineyard, located in Cammarata, Agrigento, is certified Organic.
