AT6901ST Spike Insulator

This spike-shaped stainless steel insulator makes improving the sound quality of small- and medium-sized speakers incredibly easy. Each six-piece set includes three insulators for both the left and right speakers that can be used in tandem with either the AT6902BR brass or AT6902ST stainless steel spike base insulators. Base insulators can be mixed and matched to create your ideal sound. The spike and base insulators are designed to be 18 mm (0.71”) high when used together, making it easy to adjust the insulator position.

These spike-shaped insulators utilize a gradually narrowing contact area to create a contact point that prevents reflected sounds and unwanted vibrations from floors and other surfaces from being transmitted. This enhances the sense of separation in sounds for improved clarity. Each insulator has a load capacity of up to 7 kg (15 lbs) for 3-point support of speakers weighing up to 21 kg (46 lbs). The spike base insulator material can also be changed as desired* to create a personalized experience, with the material in contact with the speaker having the greatest impact on the sound.

The stainless steel increases the expressiveness of mid- and low-frequency ranges—the core ranges—for a more forceful sound.

Powerful high-frequency sounds (when used with AT6902BR brass spike base insulators)

Enjoy milder resonances and high-frequency range for a more impactful sound from the combined characteristics of both stainless steel and brass, with the sound generated by the stainless steel being slightly more prominent.
