Description:
We are hardwired to connect with one another, and we connect through our emotions. Our brains, bodies, and minds are inseparable from the emotions that animate them.
Normal human development relies on the cultivation of relationships with others to form and nurture the self-regulatory circuits that enable emotion to enrich, rather than enslave, our lives. And just as emotionally traumatic events can tear apart the fabric of family and psyche, the emotions can become powerful catalysts for the transformations that are at the heart of the healing process.
In this book, the latest addition to the Norton Series on Interpersonal Neurobiology, leading neuroscientists, developmental psychologists, therapy researchers, and clinicians illuminate how to regulate emotion in a healthy way. A variety of emotions, both positive and negative, are examined in detail, drawing on both research and clinical observations. The role of emotion in bodily regulation, dyadic connection, marital communication, play, well-being, health, creativity, and social engagement is explored. The Healing Power of Emotion offers fresh, exciting, original, and groundbreaking work from the leading figures studying and working with emotion today.
Contributors include: Jaak Panksepp, Stephen W. Porges, Colwyn Trevarthen, Ed Tronick, Allan N. Schore, Daniel J. Siegel, Diana Fosha, Pat Ogden, Marion F. Solomon, Susan Johnson, and Dan Hughes.

Great shirt, unfortunately wrong size
Color: Royal Azure, Size: Medium
I bought the royal blue azure variety, and I really love the color. I also really liked the material, it feels light and silky. It works great as both a casual and semi-formal button up.
Unfortunately, the shirt was too big, hence the 4 star rating. I am usually a size M, but this shirt was very long, reaching almost the halfway point of my thighs. I think you would be better off ordering a size below. For this color, they didn't have any smaller size, though, which is sad because I really liked the shirt otherwise.

Great value
Color: Grayish Blue, Size: Large
Nice shirt, runs a little small. The fabric is nice and the color was great. I am very pleased with this purchase. Probably will buy several more in different colors.

Classy button shirt for dress up or casual occassions
Color: White, Size: XX-Large
I love the COOFANDY button down shirts!! They are soft, fit well, perfect length, maintain their color, and can be worn for casual or a fancy night out on the town. I’ve bought (4) of these so far.

Comfort
Color: Grayish Blue, Size: X-Large
The only thing I would change about these shirts and I've bought 9 now is the extra button they give you comes on the tag and not on the shirt like I'm used to so I lost the buttons. And I have a shirt that's missing a button now. But overall definitely a good shirt fits how you would expect. And is not cut overly short like a lot of dress shirts are nowadays

Great button up
Size: X-Large, Color: Blue White 168
This is a very nice button up foe my husband. The fit was true to size and makes a great church shirt that looks nice with slacks or jeans. Seems well made too.
