The BB434 also has a Vintage Plus Light Bridge which allows for stringing through the bridge at a 45-degree angle, placing less stress on the strings than traditional through-body stringing. 

The Yamaha BB434 is extremely straightforward, and the electronics are easy-to-use. The pickups are a set of custom-wound YGD V5 Pickups (Alnico V), with a single-coil in the bridge and a split single-coil in the neck. The simple volume/volume/tone setup makes it easy to dial in how much of each pickup you need. The thinner profile, red metallic finish, and vintage tone make it an inviting bass for players of all levels.
