In the 20th year of Sula Bassana's career a new album is showing up! It contains songs composed and recorded from 2013 to 2018, but finished at a few evenings within the last years. After some more electronic orientated albums, this one here is more in the style of the rock orientated albums like Dreamer, The Night, Dark Days or Live At Roadburn 2014. First two tracks include some vocals, which is rare on Sula albums, and show the more rockier side of this album. The titletrack is something different, very melodic, even slightly jazzy, and features Mellotron and some pure fuzz. Wurmloch is a full space flight based on a synthesizer arpeggio with the rest recorded around later. And the album ends with the oldest of these tracks: Mellotraum. This was the first track Sula recorded with his freshly arrived Mellotron (4000d) on it's first day, back in 2013. Btw: Sula Bassana is Dave Schmidt, a multi instrumentalist from Germany, playing in Zone Six and Interkosmos (and has played in Electric Moon, Psychedelic Monsterjam, Krautzone, Weltraumstaunen, Liquid Visions, Growing Seeds etc.). All music composed, performed, recorded, produced and mixed by Sula Bassana (Dave Schmidt) at his Amöbenklangraum. Music recorded between 2013 and 2018. Last overdubs and vocals recorded in 2019 to 2021. Sula plays guitars, basses, drums, synthesizers, organ, Mellotron and electric sitar. And did some vocals in tracks 1 and 2. Mastered by Eroc. The amazing cover picture was painted by French born painter Hervé Scott Flament. Sula-pix (in the inner page of the cover) by Kilian Schloemp (Cab Guy). Coverlayout by Sula LP comes in gatefold cover, with dl code. 500 copies on 180 gr. Black wax!

Good stuff, but watch the temp
Model: NewSLS50_52
I used this in my single cab pickup truck (89 ford.) It only took half the box (10 sheets or 25 square feet) to do the floors, but I bought the big box because I plan to do the doors, back wall, and maybe the roof as well. One thing I learned is that the temperature matters when you’re doing the installation. It was around 55F when I started in the evening, and when it dipped down into the 40s the sheets would not stick to the metal, and were hard to compress with the roller. That’s why I ended up only doing the floors and not any vertical surfaces; i will have to wait for a nice hot day. The other thing is that the foil layer on top is razor sharp at the edges, definitely wear gloves! I didn’t notice until after but I have little papercuts all over my fingers. Aside from those things, the install was easy and straightforward. The sheets cut easily with scissors, and any goo that ends up on your hands or scissors can be cleaned up with acetone (nail polish remover), or lacquer thinner. I would use this stuff again.

The Mitt is it.
I ordered the applicator because the Poli Glow Kit on hand was ordered and received a couple of years ago and it had the old chamois covered rectangular applicator. I could tell by looking that the mitt was the better solution. Also, the mitt was described well in an online video, so using it was easy to learn. The results were fantastic and I am very pleased with it. The only thing I would change is to add some more information on how often to replenish the mitt and with how much Poli Glow liquid. I wasn't sure if I was skimping or wasting the material. As I approached halfway, I couldn't tell if I was going to run out before I finished, so I tried to be as frugal as possible. Turns out, I had liquid left over.
