1950年代ワイスの大ぶりラインストーンイヤリング。暖かみのあるブラウンの大粒エメラルドカットストーンが6石配置された贅沢なデザイン。クリアな煌めきを放つストーンは、角度によって時折虹色の輝きを浮かべます。身に纏えば、耳たぶを覆う気品溢れるブラウンの煌めきがお顔周りを美しく照らすお品。
【WEISS(ワイス)とは】
Albert Weissがデザイナーとして在籍していたCoroから独立し、1942年にNYで設立したコスチュームジュエリーカンパニー。WEISS本人がデザインを手掛け、制作も自社工場で行われました。WEISSのジュエリーは、オーストリア製の高品質なラインストーンを贅沢に使用した華やかなデザインが特徴。ラインストーンはその色と輝きが最も美しく見えるよう、一石ずつ手作業で爪留めされました。また、WEISSはその絶妙で印象的な色使いから「色の魔術師」と称されました。会社は1971年に閉業しましたが、そのクオリティの高さから現在もなおコレクターを魅了しています。
