Genuine BMW M Performance Carbon Fibre Roof – F87 M2 & M2 Competition
The BMW M Performance Carbon Fibre Roof is the ultimate upgrade for F87 M2 owners looking to enhance both performance and aesthetics. Originally introduced as an optional extra on the M2 Competition, many enthusiasts believe this lightweight, motorsport-inspired component should have been standard, as seen on other M models.
Why Upgrade to a Carbon Fibre Roof?
Weight Reduction for Enhanced Performance
The carbon fibre construction significantly reduces weight compared to the stock metal roof, resulting in:
- A lower centre of gravity, improving handling and cornering stability.
- Reduced overall vehicle weight, enhancing acceleration and braking performance.
Motorsport-Inspired Aesthetics
The high-gloss carbon fibre finish delivers a track-ready look, seamlessly blending with other M Performance carbon components.
OEM Quality and Fitment
Manufactured by BMW M Performance, this roof is engineered to factory specifications, ensuring perfect fitment and compatibility with the F87 M2 & M2 Competition.
Compatibility
The BMW M Performance Carbon Fibre Roof is designed for:
✔ BMW F87 M2 (2016-2018)
✔ BMW F87 M2 Competition (2018-2021)
⚠ Note: Professional installation is recommended, as the original roof must be removed, and proper bonding and sealing techniques must be used.
