Silver Maple Block SM-238 2.1" x 2.1" x 7.6"Silver Maple Block SM 238 2. 1" x 2. 1" x 7. 6" 0. 7 lbs. This is an attractive spindle of Texas grown Silver Maple. It has an overall light golden tone to the wood with a fine, even grain texture. There are faint brown stripes through the wood and occasional small knots. Most of the knots are 1 4" across or less. The grain runs long and more or less straight, parallel to the long axis of each spindle. This wood has been fully air dried to 10 12%

This shoe is cute. It is nice and comfy, but it is NOT brown. A caramel, maybe a tan, but NOT the color brown we see with the description. Not a chocolate brown as it appears or looks to be on the amazon post. It is NOT the deep description color that it shows to be. It is not. It is comfortable. It fors fit exact and it is still cute.
