Fine Young Cannibals had talent to burn -- guitarist Andy Cox and multi-instrumentalist David Steele were veterans of the English Beat, and front man Roland Gift was a vocalist as distinctive as Sam Cooke or Al Green -- and 1989's The Raw and The Cooked shows the UK trio going out in style. The second and ?nal FYC studio album neatly balances such retro-soul numbers as "Good Thing" and such Prince-in?uenced dance cuts as "She Drives Me Crazy." Both of those tracks became No.1 hits, and the remaining songs (all original except for a convincing cover of Buzzcocks' "Ever Fallen In Love") are also single-worthy. A double-Platinum smash, The Raw and The Cooked remains among the most listenable albums of the 1980s. Includes the hits "She Drives Me Crazy", "Good Thing", "I'm Not The Man I Used To Be". As the item title states, it's a soccer ball with straps. It feels like a soccer ball, but smaller and doesn't make any noises. The 8 inch size just right for my 50 lb dog. He can't get his mouth around the ball, but can bite down on the straps as we kick it around. He also plays and tosses it around by himself. It's also easy to clean. It's a good item, but suffers from two issues. 01) The nylon straps are tough, but not as durable as I though. My dog is aggressive chewer and has managed to chew them up a bit. 02) There is a nylon strap that is longer than all the others, so he tends to focus on that one. After about 15 days of playing with hit, he's managed to chew that strap up to the point that it's almost falling off. It would be nice if all the straps were the same, larger, size.
