Playland Fiesta Medal 2019 by Irma Golden EXPRESS NEWS WINNER POP CULTUREAt a party in 2018, Irma Golden came up to me and told me she had an idea for a Fiesta Medal, and boy did she ever. She remembered going to Playland as a little girlher dad would always take her and they would have fun riding all the rides until she was exhausted! This was one of the great memories of her dad, so she wanted to create this awesome Playland Fiesta Medal for 2019! Winner of the Express News Fiesta Medal Contest for Best Pop Culture

At a party in 2018, Irma Golden came up to me and told me she had an idea for a Fiesta Medal, and boy did she ever. She remembered going to Playland as a little girl—her dad would always take her and they would have fun riding all the rides until she was exhausted! This was one of the great memories of her dad, so she wanted to create this awesome Playland Fiesta Medal for 2019! Winner of the Express News Fiesta Medal Contest for Best Pop Culture Medal.

Featuring a rotating "Hammer" ride on the top left, this Playland Fiesta Medal is a lot of fun. We replaced the "Just for Fun" tagline with "Just for Fiesta" and put the "2019" on the roller coaster cars on the top of the track! 

Through 2020, $1 from each of these medals sold was donated to the Burned Out Survivor's Fund, an organization that Irma has personal experience with. As a single mom, she and her children were in a fire and lost everything. Fortunately, a fireman came to her temporary housing and cut her a check to get her family back on their feet.
