The Contracor BRS-5 is a heavy-duty mobile blast and recovery system for closed-circuit abrasive blasting where dust and contamination must be kept to a minimum. With a 50-litre blast vessel and a 5.5 kW vacuum motor, it delivers roughly twice the output of the BRS-2 — making it the right choice for larger surfaces, longer run times, and more demanding jobs.
Like the BRS-2, blasting and recovery take place simultaneously via the DMH handle at the vacuum head. The key upgrade is the automatic pulse-jet filter cleaning system, which keeps the cartridge filter clear without interrupting work. The BSH-50 vacuum head supports a 15-metre hose run, giving the operator more freedom when working around larger structures.
