Dusty Brick Red Bakhtiari Vintage Persian Rug • Handmade Wool Carpet • 5x7 Floral Accent Rug for Living Room, Bedroom, Dining, Entry & Study
✔ This rug carries a rich, garden-like presence, blending classic Persian symmetry with the lively spirit of Bakhtiari floral design.
Handwoven in the Bakhtiari region of Persia, this vintage piece features a bold central medallion surrounded by scrolling vines, palmettes, and blooming rosettes arranged in harmonious balance. The composition feels full and abundant without becoming overwhelming, grounded by structured borders that frame the floral movement with clarity and strength. The ivory field allows the intricate details to breathe while the saturated accents give the design depth and definition.
The palette is vibrant yet refined — dusty brick red, deep navy blue, creamy ivory, rosewood, dusty coral, muted teal, olive green, soft sky blue, and subtle charcoal outlines. Natural tonal variation and gentle age patina give the surface dimension and authenticity collectors appreciate in true vintage Persian rugs.
Hand-knotted from wool, it has a low pile with a sturdy foundation and a dense, durable feel underfoot. At 4'7" × 6'9", this versatile size works beautifully in bedrooms, home offices, layered living rooms, or intimate sitting areas where floral richness and timeless character are desired.
