A rare vintage wicker Armoire, c1970'sThis vintage wicker armoire is both rare and beautiful. It is a statement piece of furniture which is also useful in providing fabulous storage. It is in excellent condition overall for a useful piece of furniture of its age, with only minor imperfections. This vintage wicker armoire is both rare and beautiful. It is a statement piece of furniture which is also useful in providing fabulous storage.
It is in excellent condition overall for a useful piece of furniture of its age, with only minor imperfections. I have repaired some of small imperfections such as a piece of wicker binding unravelling, to prevent damage, and I have chosen to leave others which are not concerning; they are visible in the photographs if you look closely. The remaining imperfections are tiny surface things like a couple of kinks in the wicker to the front right side door, the woven cane does not form a perfect edge in parts around the bottom of the armoire, and the right side door is a little stiff locking into place when shut and releasing on opening (however it still functions well).
As with any piece of antique or vintage furniture, surface imperfections can be seen as be seen as part of the appeal; I prefer to take this view and embrace them.
