Our IS38 replacement turbocharger can be installed into 2015+ MQB vehicles as a direct replacement for IS38 turbo; or as an upgrade to IS12 and IS20.

Please note that proper tuning software must be used when upgrading from a smaller turbo – check with your tuning software provider. Any IS38 software is compatible.

CTS Turbo downpipe and intercooler are recommended if retrofitting into Golf/GTI/A3.

Features:

  • Exact replacement for factory IHI IS38 turbo
  • Upgraded turbine shaft and bearings
  • Stainless steel turbine housing
  • Manufactured to OEM-spec tolerances

Installation is a straight-forward replacement of the factory turbo, using all OEM gaskets and hardware. Simply transfer your diverter valve or BOV and wastegate actuator (not included).

NOTE: Always follow the proper procedure for checking/adjusting the wastegate actuator when installing the turbo! Always replace engine oil. Professional installation recommended.
