The Estates is part of a range of games called 'Simply Complex' from Capstone Games. The aim is to provide games which are a hearty meal, yet delivered in bite sized portions of satisfaction. The Estates certainly achieves this, but be warned this is a game with 'high player interaction' which is another way of saying it is incredibly mean! The basic premise sees you and the other players building a series of towers in a four by four grid. Over the course of play this grid can be shortened or lengthened, but the important thing is that when a row has a tower in every possible space it is considered 'complete' for scoring purposes. At the start of the game all the wonderfully chunky and tactile building blocks are placed in a bag and 24 are drawn out, formed into a 3x8 grid. These blocks are numbered 1-6 and come in one of six colours. Next to these are a shareholder certificate for each of the six colours, the major piece and the three shortening/lengthening pieces. Each player is given 12 cheques of one million each and no more money will enter the game. A bag of roof tiles is also placed to one side. On a turn you choose one of the game pieces and put it up for auction. The bidding starts with the player to your left and everyone can raise or pass until it gets back to you. Then you have a choice - accept the bid, take the money of the bidder and let them place the piece, or pay the bid to the highest bidder and place the piece yourself. With roofs and block these must be placed on the board, but the other pieces can be discarded or used. If you place the first block of a colour onto the board you also take the share certificate for that colour, this in turn means you have the opportunity to score points at the end of the game. To do this you want one of your colour blocks at the top of towers on completed rows, then you will score all the numbers on blocks and roofs in your towers. However if the row isn't complete you will lose those points instead. The other pieces add some mischief to all this by doubling points (positive or negative), and changing the lengths of the rows for better or worse. The gameplay loop is amazingly interactive and the choices it presents are compelling. The value placed on the items on display is always changed thanks to the fixed amount of money in the game, and winning without owning any shares is entirely plausible if you set your sights on ruining every other players chances! The Estates is a high player interaction game where you will constantly be at odds with other players, this doesn't suit everyone but for those who like that style of game The Estates is a very good example of one! Buggy Bands for a camping trip
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 12)
Because of my experience with bugs loving me and using similar buggy bands to ward them off, I purchased these Buggy Bands for an upcoming camping trip so I can enjoy the great outdoors without the side effects of the bugs.

My Go-To Cotton Rounds — Don’t Fall Apart & No Fuzz
Color: Ultra Soft, Size: 100 Count (Pack of 3)
These are my favorite cotton rounds, and I’ve tried everything from dollar store versions to higher-end “eco” brands. I keep coming back to these. They stay intact and do not separate, even when fully saturated. I use them for micellar water, toner, and nail polish remover, and they hold up well with all three. No fuzz left behind, no pilling, and no pieces sticking to my face. The thickness is just right — not too thin, not overly bulky. They’re soft but durable. I also like that one side has a slight texture. It’s not harsh or labeled as “exfoliating,” but it does have a subtle grip that helps with product application without irritating the skin barrier. Compared to cheaper brands that fall apart and more expensive ones that don’t perform any better, these strike the perfect balance of quality and value. Definitely a repeat purchase for me. TL;DR: Soft, durable, no fuzz, and don’t fall apart. Perfect thickness for toner, micellar water, and nail polish remover. My consistent repurchase.

Good Quality Cotton Rounds
Color: Ultra Soft, Size: 100 Count (Pack of 3)
I recently purchased these cotton rounds, and I couldn’t be happier with them! They are soft, durable, and incredibly gentle, making them perfect for my daily skin care routine. They don’t leave behind any lint, and they hold up well when applying toner or removing makeup. One unexpected bonus is how great they are for my cat with skin allergies. I use the rounds to gently clean around sensitive areas, and the soft texture ensures I don’t irritate her skin. Another huge plus is the value. The set comes with a generous amount of rounds for the price, which makes it both practical and economical. For anyone looking for versatile, skin-friendly cotton rounds that work for both personal care and gentle pet care, this set is an excellent buy!

Just Love These Little Pads
Color: Ultra Soft, Size: 100 Count (Pack of 6)
I use these everyday, at least twice a day and they are perfect for applying toner, etc. The little pads absorb liquid well so you don't use too much of something, or the liquid rolls off onto the counter, they fit perfectly on the ends of my fingers, they don't leave lint on my skin, and are thin enough to be used easily and well. They do not scratch my skin, they are not rough, and they don't stick to me. I use them only once and throw away. The price of them is reasonable and a box of them is always sitting in pantry. I've used them to applying antiseptic to cuts,, giving to my husband for dotting a razor cut, and as a protector inside a jewelry pouch. I just love these little pads.
