Plug the battery backup UPS into an available wall socket, then plug the Illumina HiSeq 4000 into one of the available receptacles on the back of the battery backup UPS, turn it on, and forget about it.
If utility power is lost while the Illumina HiSeq 4000 is on and connected to the battery backup UPS, the instrument will continue to operate as if power was never lost until either power is restored or battery power is depleted (whichever occurs first). The built in power conditioning function ensures that voltage sags or surges will not damage the power supply of the attached instrument.
4 Tier Power Protection System – Surge Protection, Real Time Power Conditioning With Voltage Regulation, Pure Sine Wave Output, & Always On Double Conversion Backup Power Technology (Phase Locked To Utility Power Allowing Seamless Transition To Backup Power).

Attractive, Simple, And Well-Made
Size: 7.7" x 7.7" x 1.7", Color: Orange (Metal Glided)
I use this as a "catchall". A place to stash things like my wallet and keys when I enter the door, so that I don't use them (I had been prone to that!). It serves it's purpose well. It's both sturdy and attractive, and a good size for a "catchall". Recommended for those like me who need such things.

The quality is surprisingly good but the color is much more orange toned in person.

Quality, Design, Function = 100% Great!
Color: Black Linen
Looks perfect on a lower shelf of living room coffee table. The black outside is classy and the wood top matches the color of my wood coffee table. Sure makes tissue boxes look great! Good that the bottom is magnetic and the box doesn’t slip out if you lift it up. You get what you pay for and this is all great quality. Thanks for such nice addition to our home.
