Multistix 10 SG Urine Test Strips
The Multistix 10 SG urine test strips from Siemens can be used for both instrumental and visual evaluation. The ascorbic acid stabilisation effectively prevents false measurement results. In order to obtain precise measurement results even with small sample volumes, the Multistix are not only particularly short, but also very flexible.
The individual test strip parameters can provide an overview and initial decisive indications without much effort, such as for diseases of the kidneys and draining urinary tract in the case of pathological changes in erythrocyte, protein or pH values.
Diabetes mellitus can also be detected early with the help of the urine test strips. The test is easy to perform, as a small amount of urine is sufficient. If certain parameters show pathological values, the sample has to be submitted to further diagnostics, such as a microscopic count of sediment components.In the case of a negative test strip result, a more complex urine analysis can be dispensed with in clinically inconspicuous patients.
