We will have these colours in the 50 gram single cakes soon, but for now, are only available in this box set. 

Each mini ball is 10g making this box set an incredibly beautiful set of colours to play with for all kinds of colourwork, details on different projects, crochet granny squares of all kinds and just the sheer joy of playing with beautiful colours.

These colours were designed to fill ‘gaps’ within the range by introducing more natural shades and subtle greens, and to add a full gradient of turquoise blues. Each box contains 210g of yarn (21 X 10g balls) or a total of 756m (21 X 36m).

The colours are hand-blended.  Each yarn (except the white) uses between 2 and 5 different colours of Shetland wool, carded separately, but then combined in various proportions during the drafting process before spinning to get the unique tweedy colours.

It's absolutely beautiful and makes the best gift for anyone who loves to do colour work with their knitting and crochet.

The Border Mill is a small fibre spinning mill nestled in the beautiful Scottish Borders. They make their own range of natural and hand-dyed yarns, in pure alpaca and very special blends with other luxury fibres, all grown in Britain.

We also have their very special Alpaca Tweed, a super soft Aran weight yarn with some colours exclusive to Loop, and the larger 50g balls of the Atlantic Tweed.
