Unwrap the magic of the holiday season with A Christmas Song, a nostalgic gem from vocal powerhouse Russ Taff. This album, now celebrating its 30th anniversary, enchants listeners with a velvety blend of big band and jazz encapsulated on a stunning Red Vinyl reissue. Out of print for years, this timeless classic originally soared to number six on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart, harkening back to the glitz and warmth of 1930s and 1940s Christmases.Back in 1992, released by Sparrow Records, Russ Taff, a former vocalist for the Imperials, delivered a Christmas album that's richer and more resonant than you might remember. Known for his impeccable vocal prowess, Taff infuses each track with a heartfelt sincerity. His renditions of "I'll Be Home for Christmas" and "Let It Snow, Let It Snow" are like stepping into a holiday movie, full of gentle snowfalls and cozy fireside gatherings.
Each track on this reissued masterpiece captures the essence of Taff's soulful delivery, making every note a voyage to yuletide nostalgia that feels simultaneously fresh and familiar. The album seamlessly flows through ten tracks, each a holiday classic that Taff has expertly reimagined with a luxurious depth and warmth.
For vinyl enthusiasts, this anniversary edition on Red Vinyl offers a tactile and visual complement to the auditory delight, making it an irresistible addition to any collection.
