Batch of Mesquite 6 Cubes 1.3 lbs. This is a pretty set of 6 Mesquite cubes. They've been air-dried to 10-12% moisture content. Each block is 1.9" x 1.9" x 2". Three of these are Grade A, with no cracks. The other 3 have some cracks that you'll want to fill with CA glue or epoxy. For mesquite, our go-to is black CA glue or coffee grounds and CA glue. There's pretty grain on these, with lots of medullary rays and eye-catching cracks that you can fill with contrasting color. These would be perfect for making 6 large dice, each of which weighs about 1/4 lb. Or you could make MANY small dice. I'm sure there are a million other uses, we just were thinking of dice when we cut these. |

Great case for iPad

I saw a similar Zugu case for my iPad and almost bought it, but it looked like my iPad might not fit, so I hunted and found this VIKESI case, which cost about 1/3 as much as the Zugu.
It's close to perfect. My iPad fits perfectly, and the almost infinite number of angles that it permits, along with magnets to hold it in place make it ideal for working on a desk or in my lap.
The only minor downside is that it's on the heavy side, probably because of the magnets. But unless you're travelling with it (I've switched to a small Fire tablet for travel), that won't be an issue.
Highly recommended.
