"Radlands is a competitive, dueling card game that focuses on minimal design throughout whilst maintaining a challenging yet immersive gameplay experience. The game has a lot of depth hidden behind the veil of the stunning, vibrant colorful box containing all the perfectly thematic art displayed on every card and component piece within. In this game, you take on the role of a post-apocalyptic leader, where your goal is to protect your camps from the opposing group who aim to take and destroy your camps from under your nose at any chance possible.

The main resource used within Radlands is water. You'll need to spend it throughout the game to play people and events and to also use abilities on cards. People cards are the main cards you will be using as these have multiple uses such as their main use of protecting the camps from the opposing camp by blocking the opponents' attack and then by using their abilities shown on their card. Event cards are more powerful and give more of a payoff, but they take longer to activate and usually have a higher cost to use. All cards can be either played in the game area or discarded for junk which will either have a certain effect, allow the player to collect resources, or draw more player cards from the deck.

Both players draw cards from the same deck so every game is random and there is no knowing which cards each player will pull making the game extremely tense and different in every game. Water resources are hard to come by so each player has to carefully track their water usage and make sure they keep their camps alive and have enough water to protect them through the use of card abilities and events. The game is over when one of the players loses all of their camps and the opponent is crowned the king of the apocalypse and can dare to live another day and fight the next grueling onslaught of any rival gang who finds themselves feeling lucky!
