M&M Shifter reverse light switch installation
- Disconnect battery cable to ensure no electrical problems occur
- Remove 8 Allen screws (7/64) to have access to the base of the shifter
- Use (5/32) Allen and remove side plates
- Remove 10/32 screw from shift lever (Picture 1)
- Install supplied 10/32 screw 1” and tighten
- Install supplied switch and mount to the base with supplied ¼-20 cap screws in specified location (picture 2)
- Some applications air cylinder will need to be clocked for clearance of the air relief port
- Install the wiring connectors supplied in kit
- Install weather pack to reverse light wires (hot wire and power to light)
- Reassemble and check for proper engagement (minor adjustments may be necessary using the slotted holes in mount)
- Once final adjustments are made reassemble shifter and be sure to tighten all bolts/screws (do not over tighten)
- If lights require more than 15amp use the supply wire to trigger a relay that can supply sufficient power to the lights
- It is recommended to install fuse in line of power to switch
