A game learned in two minutes, playable everywhere.

Suitable for two-players, ages 8 to 108.

The aim of the game is to align four tokens of your colour horizontally, vertically or diagonally in the 4-4 grid.

Duration: 10 minutes

Rules of Quadrio: Each player chooses a token colour. White starts. The first player takes the empty grid, holds the grid vertically by one of its four corners, inserts one of their tokens through one of the 16 slots and passes the grid to the other player. The other player holds the grid by a corner, inserts one of their own tokens and passes the grid back. The players repeat this until one of them wins. They win by aligning four tokens in a line ? horizontally, vertically or diagonally. The lines can be made up of tokens on one side or by ?mixing and matching? on both sides of the grille. Before or after inserting a token, the grid can be turned in any direction. An inserted token cannot be removed, or pushed out. Gravity will cause the tokens to slide, making new combinations! Will it be your friend or will gravity get you down?
