Why then did this prolific Tasmanian’s name almost disappear from recent history while her male friends, such as Gustav Weindorfer, Paddy Harnett and Steven Spurling III, became our household wilderness heroes?
This is the first compilation of Florence’s adventurous, busy life and her photographs. It will no doubt, not be the last.
“… thanks to Tabatha Badger’s biography (how I love it!), the mists of disregard have cleared and we are all able to go back to the mountains of Florence Perrin’s remarkable career.”
