Explore the intricate dynamics of radiation in aquatic ecosystems with 'Marine Radioecology, Volume 6'. This seminal work, published by John Wiley & Sons, delves deep into the effects of radionuclides in marine environments. As we navigate through a world where natural radioactivity coexists with man-made radioisotope contamination, this volume unravels the complex fate of radionuclides introduced into marine systems. From atomic fallout to nuclear discharges, the book provides thorough insights on how these radioactive elements interact with marine organisms, ecosystems, and sediments.

Discover how these radionuclides are bioaccumulated within various marine species, affecting them through intricate food webs and biological activities. Each chapter elucidates the varying levels of radioactive contamination across diverse marine habitats, spotlighting the unique risks incurred by marine organisms. The comprehensive research presented herein is invaluable for ecologists, marine biologists, and environmental scientists alike, contributing to a greater understanding of the impacts of ionizing radiation in a changing world.

'Marine Radioecology, Volume 6' not only addresses the biological ramifications at the molecular and population levels but also discusses ecological responses, risk assessments, and strategies for monitoring and mitigating radioactive exposure in marine environments. This book is an essential resource for anyone looking to explore the critical relationship between radiation and the oceanic environment, shaping the future of marine radioecology.

Long time Timex ironman digital owner. First analog watch I've owned in a long, long time. LOVE IT.

Long time Timex iron man digital owner. First analog watch I've owned in a long, long time. LOVE IT. I don't know I'd go swimming or kayaking with this -- might be fine -- but for "dry land" this is a great watch, good band, for a reasonable price. It's battery powered, but that's OK with me.

Disappointing
Color: Black/Black/Black
Overall the watch is ok. The price doesn't reflect the quality of the watch. This should be a $20.00 dollar watch. I purchased this partially because I thought the number would glow at night, they do not. The hour and minute hand barely glow at night. I decided to just keep it, rather than returning it, and now I wish I had just returned it. After 2 months, I got a scratch on the watch, what looks like cheap, plastic. I can't say I would recommend it for that reason, I'm a average field watch wearer, which means they have to be somewhat durable. This was disappointing.
