STIHL ANTI-VIBRATION SYSTEM
MANUAL DECOMPRESSION
EFFORTLESS START-UP. The decompression valve makes it easier to start your power tool. When starting, you can allow some of the compressed mixture to escape from the cylinder by opening the valve. This protects the start-up system and reduces the amount of force required on the starter cord.
STIHL 2-MIX ENGINE
FOR FEWER STARTING STROKES. The manual fuel pump reduces the number of strokes required to start the power tool, making the start-up process quicker and easier This is particularly helpful after longer breaks in operation. To use it, actuate the pump several times before starting. This will ensure that there is enough petrol in the carburettor when starting.
SIDE-MOUNTED CHAIN TENSIONING

The STIHL MS 500i gas-driven chainsaw is ideal for forestry work. Above all, it lets you process thick wood efficiently based on this tool’s high performance and ease of use. Thanks to lightweight design and dynamic swivel behaviour, this highly manoeuvrable chainsaw impresses not only when felling and cutting to length, but also when pruning.
The MS 500i is the world’s first chainsaw to feature electronically controlled injection. The innovative STIHL Injection technology guarantees optimum engine performance and excellent starting characteristics, regardless of altitude and ambient temperature. Sensors measure air pressure and internal and external temperature, and pass information on to the control unit. This can use the identified values to determine the optimum fuel quantity and ignition timing. As a result, fuel metering is assured through the opening and closing of the valve. STIHL Injection is therefore synonymous with rapid acceleration, extremely high power, and low weight:
- the chain accelerates from 0 km/h to 100 km/h in 0.25 seconds.
- The MS 500i achieves the best power-to-weight ratio on the market: an unparalleled 1.24 kg/kW.
Electronically controlled fuel injection takes place in the tried-and-tested STIHL 2-MIX engine, which offers high performance with low fuel consumption. The gas-driven chainsaw features STIHL ElastoStart to protect your muscles and joints. Its HD2 air filter, captive nuts on the sprocket cover, controlled-delivery oil pump, tool-free fuel cap and side-mounted chain tensioning complete the premium features.

Quality made/ POOR delivery

I requested a refund shortly after trying the showes on for fit. The shape of the upper heal cause me great pain and discomfort. Other than the poor fit at the heal, the shoes are well buit. The toe box was very comfortable and well formed. The sole has a nice grip and the style is on point. If the shoes had fit , I would have given the a 5 star rating, as for delivery I am giving Amazon 1 star.
I originally ordered the shoes for an event the same day of Amazon's orginal deliver by date, however the shoes where not delivered as stated in the "OUT FOR DELIVERY" tracker. The tracker kept saying driver had 7 stops ahead of me, but delivery map showed delivery vehicle moving away from my delivery area and it stopped moving all together.
The next date I received the shoes. The shoes were delivered in see-through ziplock plastic bag for all to see. The driver left bag on the edge of our porch. The driver did a trouble job by not securing the package from people passing by.
Amazon needs to train their drives to be on time, respect the sellers goods and customer's purchases. We all know about porch pirates, so Amazon should do better jod to deliver packages out of plain sight when possible.
