This extremely strong rug has a 1680 denier canvas-look outer with a PU waterproof coating (ISO 10,000mm) to protect your horse from cold and rainy weather.
The 160g PES fibre filling is warm and breathable, due to the multiple layers in which air can circulate.
Meanwhile, the inside is lined with Kentucky's signature artificial rabbit fur. This helps to prevent rubbing marks and also acts as an extra isolating layer for additional warmth next to the fibre fill.
The rug is anatomically shaped for a comfortable fit and has no seam in the back to avoid the risk of leakage. It is designed to always move back into the correct position after the horse has rolled or laid down.
It features a hook and loop closure at the front with two straps, two cross-surcingles made from seatbelt webbing fabric under the belly, and a plastic covered bungee tail cord for ease of cleaning.
A separate matching neck piece can also be purchased for extra coverage.
Machine washable at 30 degrees. Kentucky advise using a fluor carbon treatment after washing the rug more than five times to maintain the waterproofing.
The Kentucky Pro Turnout Rug 160g is available in Navy, in sizes 5ft 9in to 7ft.
