We've trimmed off most of the bark. There's very pretty heartwood and sapwood. There are numerous burl buds and some eye catching medullary rays. This piece has been air dried to 12 14% moisture content. The branch pith is present and has some fine cracks that you may want to fill with CA

Mesquite Block M2039 2.6" x 2.6" x 7.6" 1.3 lbs. This is an eye-catching block of Texas Honey Mesquite. It's a limb piece, cut from a small-diameter branch. We've trimmed off most of the bark. There's very pretty heartwood and sapwood. There are numerous burl buds and some eye-catching medullary rays. This piece has been air-dried to 12-14% moisture content. The branch pith is present and has some fine cracks that you may want to fill with CA glue. It's a very strong piece, and you can probably get by without CA glue if you prefer. About the Tree This Texas-grown Honey Mesquite tree was harvested in El Campo, Texas in July of 2022. It was cut down by the city for reasons unknown to us, and we were happy to help save the tree from a burn pile. It is possible that this tree was damaged by the Valentine's Day Freeze that Texas suffered in February 2021, which is when our state lost a lot of beautiful trees in an unusually deep and long freeze. |

Nice jeans, but too tight in the thighs

I liked these jeans overall — good quality and the stretch feels nice — but they were a little too tight in the thighs for me. If you’ve got more athletic legs, you might want to size up or try a different fit.

Same sizes but different fits

Great color and good fit. Feels more like a Jean. I bought two pair-exact same size. 32w x 32 length. Light green was exactly what I wanted. The maroon red was more like a jegging than jeans. Not what I wanted. Supposedly same style - so just be aware fits were completely different!

Good product with quality-control issues

I really like these jeans. I own them in almost every color they offer, but the manufacturing consistency is hit or miss. The latest pair I bought has a much smaller pocket opening than the others.
I also always order the same size (31×31), but when I got the red pair they were ridiculously long, more like a 31×36.
And the first khaki pair I bought had pockets about half as deep as the rest. My iPhone would literally stick out of them.
That said, for the price and overall look, they’re still a solid buy.
