ReadyLIFT introduces a new 6-Inch Big Lift Kit for 2016-2023 Tacoma trucks, designed to enhance the lift height of these mid-size Toyota trucks. The kit, model 44-5660, is compatible with SR, SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, and Limited models, excluding 5-lug Tacoma, TRD Pro, TX Baja, or Xsp-x models.
Inspired by the engineering of Tundra lift kits, the Tacoma kit features drop bracket style design, allowing for a 35-Inch tall off-road tire fitment. Central to the kit are heavy-duty top mount offset strut extensions for a true 6-inch front lift.
It includes cast iron lift knuckles for ideal alignment geometry, retaining factory sway bar mounting locations, and compatibility with the factory skid plate and gravel guard. The kit comprises heavy-duty, laser-cut, CNC-bent steel cross members for front differential lowering and frame integrity.
The rear setup includes 5-inch tall fabricated steel lift blocks and Bilstein 5100-series shocks. This kit has undergone over 6 months of daily road testing, confirming its effectiveness and compatibility with up to a 35x12.50 tire on a 9-Inch wide wheel with +12, 0, or -18 offsets, requiring a minimum 18-Inch wheel diameter.
Notably, the kit maintains the functionality of Tacoma safety features, like electronic stability control and Tss-pcs, as tested on a factory 2018 MY Tacoma with the kit installed. The testing confirmed that the vehicle's active and passive systems recognized operating conditions and took corrective actions as per factory settings, even with the suspension upgrades.
