Buckingham’s new BuckOhm™ line of shock absorbing lanyards are designed for working conditions with electrical hazards, making this a great option for substation and other utility work. Dielectric hardware eliminates the potential of static electricity being transferred through steel hardware if working around an energized conductor in wet or damp conditions. Also, Dielectric hardware has a better resistance to corrosion in extreme conditions (hot/humid or salty air environments).

Introducing the new BuckOhm™ BuckYard, a shock absorbing lanyard with dielectric hardware! This new lanyard is available in two color options; BuckViz Safety Green or Black (84+G7E16S1). This version of the BuckOhm™ BuckYard should be used with a full body harness with a web loop dorsal attachment. Buckingham recommends the BuckOhm™ Dielectric X-Style Harness (603A8Q1) which also has dielectric hardware. The BuckYard™ Stretch has the same benefits of the Buckyard™ but with the addition of an elastic bungee that expands/stretches when working. A 6’ lanyard will expand/stretch to 6’ when worked and will retract to 44″, minimizing the length of webbing the end user has while working; reducing tripping hazards.

BuckOhm™ BuckYard w/loop:

  • A 6’ lanyard will expand/stretch to 6’ when worked and will retract to 44″.
  • Dielectric locking snap hook on one end and web loop on the other end.
  • To be used with a full body harness with a web loop dorsal attachment (603A8Q1).

Do not buy this protection plan!
Warning! The details of this Warranty are misleading and make you feel like they will pretty much replace anything. I am trying to have stained discolored cushions replaced on lounge chairs, less than six months old. Talking to a customer service representative is out of the question. They ask a few multiple-choice questions and base your claim on that. My claim was denied and that is the end of it. I have spent $80.99 on two different asurion protection plans need and now I feel like I have wasted $162.00. I'm not happy and will never buy this protection plan again. Now I have to find and purchase new cushions for replacement.

Great chair
You sit on it more than in it. It's a bit firmer than my old one, but hopefully it will soften up as the years pass. Otherwise, great chair, easy to put together. The theater lights are a very cool touch at night.

Paid for Protection, Got Rejection — Asurion Makes Claims Unnecessarily Difficult
I purchased the 2-year Asurion protection plan along with my Mcombo recliner, expecting peace of mind in case something went wrong. Unfortunately, when I actually needed to use the plan, the experience was frustrating and disappointing from start to finish. I submitted a claim and uploaded every document available to me—order confirmation, invoice details, and proof of the protection plan purchased through Amazon. Despite this, I received a generic rejection email stating that “documents are missing,” without any explanation of what exactly was lacking. Trying to resolve the issue was even more frustrating. Finding a working customer service number was unnecessarily difficult. When I finally managed to speak with a representative, the interaction was unhelpful and dismissive. The agent requested a document that does not exist in my purchase records and offered no guidance on how to obtain it. There was no attempt to clarify, assist, or move the process forward—only a rigid insistence on requirements that were not properly explained. At no point did I feel that Asurion was trying to help resolve the claim. Instead, the process felt designed to discourage follow-through. A protection plan should simplify problems, not create new ones. Based on this experience, the coverage feels like wasted money rather than a safety net. I would strongly recommend reconsidering before purchasing an Asurion protection plan.
