When it comes to steering stabilizers, not all shocks provide adequate performance. There are 2 types, IFP and Emulsion, while Emulsion shocks may seem like a good play because they are cheap, however, they are NOT intended to be used on stabilizers because the oil and gas are mixed, having them mounted in a horizontal position allows the oil to settle on the bottom. This results in the piston being half-submerged in oil, thus reducing its life span, on top of their tiny pistons, creates a piss-poor ability to control your steering and suspension.
Enter Carli's High & Low-Mount Steering Stabilizer, featuring an Internal Floating Piston. This secondary piston separates the nitrogen cavity, allowing you to run it horizontally or vertically. This ensures the nitrogen properly pressurizes the oil cavity, ensuring the piston is always submerged in oil. This increases heat tolerance while eliminating cavitation.
Part Number: CS-DSSOSK-T
Features
- Nitrogen pressure can be adjusted in both stabilizers to fine-tune and counteract any radial tire pull the user may be experiencing
- Fabricated differential guard offers protection and a sturdy mounting point for the low-mount stabilizer
- Stainless stabilizer bodies offer a durable and long-lasting finish that will not rust over time
- True opposing design allows for maximum steering dampening to drastically reduce bump steer under normal driving or serious off-roading
- Includes low mount stabilizer, high mount stabilizer, differential guard, and mounting bracket
Notes
- Fits 2008.5-2012 Ram 2500/3500 equipped with T-STYLE steering or 2003-2008 Ram 2500/3500 retrofitted with T-STYLE steering
