The lining easily accommodates the adjustment. I chose the small size which is perfectly adequate for my needs. I will use for short trips as it will accommodate laptop, dog treats, my snacks and hydration, book, wallet, phone and more of course. I value this much much higher than the price I paid. None of the pics do it justice. You have to have it in your hands to believe. I highly recommend. I’m fighting that impulse to get a back up bc this is def my new favorite.
